Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree’:

Defending our precious country and great people; and in retaliation for (Saudi-led) continuous aggression’s crimes, the most recent of which was yesterday in Hajjah province; and its oppressive, ongoing blockade; and coinciding with the centenary of the Tanuma massacre, our ballistic missiles and drones destroyed a number of military and vital installations in Saudi Arabia’s Asir, Jizan and Najran (provinces), including airports and military bases, during a large-scale military operation.

The operation was carried out using highly accurate ballistic missiles (details surrounding which) have not been announced yet, and a high number of drones, killing and injuring dozens of Saudi military commanders and renegade Saudi-led Yemeni mercenaries who were having a meeting together.  The (Yemeni) Armed Forces asserts that it will go ahead with its legitimate right to defend the great (nation of) Yemen and its precious, noble people until liberty and independence is achieved.

The (Yemeni) Forces will not hesitate to carry out more serious and painful strikes throughout the coming period till Saudi Arabia halts its aggression and lifts the blockade.

Long live Yemen, free, cherished and independent.

Victory is for Yemen and all free nations.
