Nasrallah predicted fall of US & oil-producing allies in 2015

Two separate but interrelated videos are widely being shared on social media circles, particularly amidst the global economic fallout caused by the Covid-19 crisis.

The first video is an excerpt from a Mayadeen TV interview with Hezbollah’s leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah back in 2015, in which Nasrallah confidently predicts the inevitable fall of the United States and ‘all regional and global states that are using oil and other means to plot against the Islamic Republic of Iran’.

The second video is an excerpt from a speech by Iran’s leader Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei earlier this year, in which he also declares the inevitable fall of the United States of America and compares it to the historic sinking of the Titanic.

And you can record me saying: that all those who are plotting by (using) oil, security, military and other means (as a weapon), whether they are global or regional (states), write down in your notes: (all of them) will fall, and Iran will remain standing.

Interviewer: All of them?

Yes…I am not fortune-telling (by the way). Not at all. (I am saying this) based on (my) analysis; on (our available) data; the (various) causes and factors (that we have taken into account); all of these things. All of these (states) will fall. As for Iran, no, Iran’s future is highly promising on the regional level, rather on the global level. This will not cause it to fall. It’s ability to persevere, remain standing and develop is very high. I am not speaking to raise morale. I know Iran well. Perhaps I am the Arab that most knows Iran.

Video 2: Khamenei’s comments

Just as the awe and greatness of the famous Titanic ship did not prevent it from sinking, the (self-manufactured) awe and greatness of America will not prevent it from sinking aswell. And America will (definitely) sink.
