(Video): Shia Iraqi Scholar warns US embassy & military bases: ‘Our silence won’t last forever’ – English Subs

Description:

Prominent Shia Iraqi scholar Sayyed Hashem al-Haidari has issued a stern warning to the American military bases and embassy in Iraq, which he described as the “den of plots and espionage”. The US embassy in Iraq is said to be the largest one in the world.

The Iraqi figure’s comments were made amidst rising tensions between Washington and Tehran. The US is deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and a bomber task force to the Middle East in response to a “number of troubling and escalatory indications and warnings” from Iran, US national security adviser John Bolton said recently.

Al-Haidari is a prominent leader within Iraq’s Hashed al-Shaabi or Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF), which is an important part of the anti-US and anti-Israel ‘Resistance Axis’ led by Iran.

The American-Saudi project in Iraq will not be successful God willing, due to the resolve of the men and women and (their) pure hearts and minds. This project will not be successful, because in Iraq there are many, many, many scholars, men, intellectuals, women, leaders and mujahideen, who carry the cause of Islam and truth, and who believe in the global leadership of Wilayah (in the form of Ayatollah Khamenei), who believe they cannot possibly remain silent forever, nor can they remain inactive and calm for very long. The one who is silent cannot remain silent (indefinitely), nor can the inactive one remain inactive, while he sees the (American) embassy of disgrace and the den of plots and espionage transgressing against the grand authority (Ayatollah Sistani) and the grand leadership (of Ayatollah Khamenei). This will not go on indefinitely.

And one day this nation God willing, with its leaderships, grand religious authority, parliament, parties, and young men and women will decide, that this embassy – with its (huge) numbers (of personnel) – can no longer remain (in Iraq), nor can the American (military) bases remain, and when that occurs, even thousands of ‘Iron domes’ will not benefit (the Americans), because if the (Iraqi) youth march onto the (US) embassy in a ‘Husayni’ manner, then neither the ‘Hummer’ will benefit them nor any protective (measures), nor their espionage (activity) or planes, and I do not wish to remind, but allow me to remind of the US embassy in Tehran, which was turned into ‘The Den of Espionage’ Museum.
