Sheikh Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun, the Grand Mufti of Syria:
“If Allah helps you, then none can overcome you.”
However, from where does victory emerge? Victory would not emerge if we have doubts in our hearts about one another, and if our (various) sects, groups and our parties are torn apart.
Nowadays there are Muslim countries that embrace the sons of the resistance, nevertheless, the embassy of Israel has great influence in these (same) countries. So, if we really embrace the resistance, then why don’t we close the embassies of the enemy? Why don’t we deal with this enemy in a clear and firm manner rather than hiding things under the table?
The resistance in Lebanon, along with Syria, the Islamic Republic of Iran, sincere people in Gaza, the West Bank, al-Quds and Haifa, and all the Arab and Muslims people, are continuously glancing at the sky and wondering when the help/victory of Allah will come? ‘Verily, the help/victory of Allah is near’!
Gentlemen, let us consider this meeting a revision of our attitudes between Allah and ourselves, and let us be honest with each other. Let us be thankful to those who stood by us, even if they think and behave differently to us; we must not stab them from behind just because they don’t belong to our group or party. We must not believe those who (claim to sincerely offer) their support to us, while their eyes are fixated upon (engaging in relations with) the (Israeli) enemy, and as they await for support from the West.
Let’s be true to Allah and our people, for the Arab and Muslim people still have hope in you O’ gentlemen.
